Introduction of deep groove ball bearings:

Deep groove ball bearing mainly take radial load as well as take moderate axial load. With less coefficient of friction, high limiting speed, large size range and varations of structure, they are suitable for precision instruments, low noise motors, automobiles,motorcycles,and other common machinery, as a widely used type of bearings in machinery industry.

Sealed deep groove ball bearingsDeep groove ball bearings with sealing disks (contacting gaskets) or covering disks (non-contacting gaskets) allow simple designs. Bearings are offered both with 1 and 2 sealing or covering disks. Bearings with two-side gaskets are filled with top quality grease. Sealed bearings can be used in a temperature range from – 30 °C to max. 110 °C (short term) for contacting and up to max. 120 °C for non-contacting gaskets. One should note here, that the period of grease use will reduce at a permanent temperature of > 70 °C. Special greases are offered for such cases.Deep groove ball bearings with annular groove in outer ringDeep groove ball bearings with annular groove in the outer ring simplify the design in many cases because they can be fixed simply by a snap ring and axially in the housing to save space. These bearings with or without snap ring are available only on request. Deep groove ball bearings tested for noiseAs standard, deep groove ball bearings are subjected to noise tests up to bore parameter 12. In addition, a 100 % rolling test is carried out. These bearings can also be subjected to a noise test if required by the customer (on request only).Cages Deep groove ball bearings without cage suffix are provided with a steel sheet cage. Differing cage designs are indicated at the bearing type as bearing symbol (suffix). Deep groove ball bearings with cages of fiber-glass reinforced polyamide 66 are suitable for temperatures of maximum 120 °C for longer periods of time. When using oil lubrication (for non-sealed bearings), the additives contained in the oil may affect the period of use of the cage if the temperature exceeds 100 °C for a longer period of time. In addition, deep groove ball bearings with brass cage and current-insulated designs are available on request.

Single-row deep groove ball bearings accept radial and axial forces and can thus be used in a wide range of applications. They have a simple design, are self-retaining, suitable for high up to very high speeds and resistant in operation and during maintenance and they are offered at a very favorable price. Due to these characteristics, self-aligning deep groove ball bearings are the anti-friction bearings which are used most. The standard version of SLF deep groove ball bearings is provided with a recess for inserting sealing and/or covering disks. The only exception is series 160… . Here, only a version without sealing and/or covering disk can be supplied. (Exception 16006.2ZR)
